Lets be clear what we're talking about. "Modernist" architecture is a style (also known as the "International Style"). A couple of famous examples from Mies van der Rohe: the Villa Tugendhat in the Czech Republic, the Seagram Building in NY.




If you're talking about contemporary architecture, that could be anything from Calatrava to the generic strip malls that can't get built fast enough.

^True ...but note, Modernism is not a 'style', it is a movement.
