How long are you storing it for? All of mine are sitting in drawers, folded over once and then placed though the loop to reduce the length. I have mabey 100 or so this way, some of which I rarely use and all seem fine to me.

Fold in half and then roll. You're done.

I hang all my ties on a rack with the exception of the knits which are rolled and stored in a drawer.

After wearing, roll the tie. After a day or 2, unroll and hang them.

I'm curious about the benefit ot the rolling stage. Not that I'll do it -- I'm far too lazy -- but I'm still interested.

I hang them. I find it convenient and helps get rid of residual wrinkles.

Helps the tie to reshape and speeds up removing wrinkles.

I've just been rolling mine, no initial fold. I'll start doing that.

I roll overnight and hang on a pants hanger in the morning - the kind that can store 5 pants at a time. The greatly alleviates storage issues as I can fit a total of 25 ties in a small space. I actually use two hangers and move ties to the second hanger after wear. This practice ensures a good rotation as a tie is only worn once a month. Ties that constantly make it to the end of the rotation without being worn get tossed.

What method do y'all use for rolling? Do you just roll or are you folding the ties in half and then folding them? Not sure if it really matters. The thing I've read is after you wear a tie to roll it and then allow it to sit a day or two then put it on the tie rack.

I hate you! Can I get like half of those from you? Where are most of your ties from? They look like RLPL. Also is this a piece from Ikea? Where is the tie rack from?

Those are not mine. They belong to Vox. I believe that many (if not most) are custom-made/made-to-order from various sources such as E&G Cappelli, David Hober, and his own tailors. I have no comment on the furniture.

I use a tie hanger.. It holds about 24 ties and virtually takes no space in the closet
