I wouldn't consider going there networking but...

"Networking" for interns, maybe. Good times, The Pour House know's my shame.

I haven't been to Hamilton's yet, I'll have to check it out on a Friday.

The tickets to the Virginia Gold Club event I wanted are sold out. It was through some group in the and they apparently have some tents with food and booze included in the price (plus bus trip). Anyway my friends and I dithered with whether we wanted to go. Ah well.

Bring this thread back from the dead...

5th Tonic Anniversary Party and Bernie's B-day
"Pig Tails and Plaid Skirts"
Saturday November 22nd. Come dressed to impress and Bernie just might give you a shot of Jameson's. Come early to get a seat but the real partying starts around 10pm

Should be fun. Guys have to wear a little plaid too, at least I'm being forced to.

The bar manager at Central told me they were shutting down Hummingbird to Mars, but would be having a final special event to celebrate repeal day on the 5th.

That sucks, but the send off should be good. Red's was epic.

Yeah, really sucks, but he said it was getting a little too big to control and lots of them were having problems getting time off, or getting less willing to take their days off week after week to run it. It sounds like they might toy with the idea of just bringing it alive for special dates, like repeal day.

This will be the first Thanksgiving in awhile that I will actually be going home for, so I won't be able to make this. They do sales on Black Friday though?

Another event:

Invite your friends!
*** 12/8 Generation Obama's "Komputers for Kids" Hope-Giving Holiday Party on Capitol Hill ***

6:00-9:00pm Monday, December 8th
Top of the Hill (upstairs of Pour House)
319 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC 20003
(Capitol South orange/blue line metro)

So, the big question on everyone's minds is "What's Next?"

We'll start that process before Inauguration Day by recruiting leaders to help build a long-term framework that brings together young people (and the young-at-heart) from groups across the DC-metro area to make that happen in the weeks and months ahead.

Therefore, on Monday, December 8th, Generation Obama invites you to join us for some merriment, networking and a good cause that will further spread hope and change beyond our borders at our "Komputers for Kids" Hope-Giving Holiday Party on Capitol Hill!

For every $200 we raise we can buy a personal computer for a child who needs access to a more hopeful future. How many lives can we touch? It's up to US.

Suggested Donation: $10

Contact: Jim McBride, 703-867-5070, genobamadc@gmail.com
(become a Host by bringing 4 friends or an Organizational Co-Sponsor)

Please RSVP and join our group!

So, I did a bad thing tonight. Went to an event hosted by one of the board members of ActBlue who is a college friend buddy of mine and I totally forgot about the Holiday party my roommates and I were hosting at my house tonight until I got home.

I am such a douche, but someone should have texted me!

So, what's next on our social calenders?

Um...my apartment is throwing a holiday happy hour on the 18th. My roomate and I have a wager on whether they will actually have booze at the party
