FYI: Crockett & Jones Spectator

Hi Guys,

Zummer is a comin' and C & J have produced a pair of spectators - one a wingtip and this captoe - both in tan and beige canvas. This particular shoe is resocked since the sole indicates it may have been heading for New & Lingwood.

Which style would you prefer?

It happens to be a UK 9E and lists this evening

Spectators are not normally something I have a place for in my shoe rotation, but those are gorgeous.

Crockett and Jones "Guildford 2" in dark brown and ivory.

The indoor photographs do the quality of the ivory no justice as it has been somewhat bleached white.

So: who rates double leather over leather/canvas in combination?

Great shoes, Graham. I like the colors on the double leather, but I suspect in person the texture contrast between the leather and canvas would carry the day.

I like the wingtip. I also like the color combination on the captoe. If the price is right, I would be interested in getting one or maybe both
