Jos. A. Bank started their half off clearance this morning. If you know what JAB is, and if JAB fits you well, you should check it out. There are many sportcoats under $100, and lots of pants, even some plain fronts, under $50.

Good looking out man.
wish they had some blazers or suits in double vent.

thanks!

Signature Gold suits for $199 seems like a good deal but with some less desirable patterns. If they had solid navy I'd grab it.

The Joseph model is double vent, FYI. And I think there might be one other suit with double vents, but I'm not sure.

Does anybody know what the shoulders are like on the the Joseph? Heavily padded, or not so much?

There isn't a LOT of padding in the shoulders, it's certainly the most modern of their suits. I like them because they are one of the few JAB suits that have flat front pants.

I bought a Joseph sportcoat on Xmas eve at some temporary and very low price - in 39 R - liked the fabric a lot but the shoulders were 19" across, which is about the same as the regular JAB 39Rs. Or maybe bigger. It may have been more true to size in the chest and waist; not sure; I returned it. The fabric was good and there were double vents. That's about all the difference I really saw between it and a regular JAB sportcoat. I don't own any of these, but JAB is sartorial splendor for my local mall so I have tried the stuff on more times than I would care to admit. I just really hate the way they do the shoulders in their jackets. All the unnecessary extension causes a lot of wrinkling on my back at the armpits; if I size down they are too small in the waist and hips.
