Is there any dancewear shop?

Thread Starter
I recently joined a dance class and need a dancewear. I already have one but it is in a bad shape. I have been surfing a lot for a good site on dancewear but haven't got one to my choice. I'm looking for a large selection at an economical rate. Can any one suggest a site with multiple selections?

There's four places. There's the Dancewear Hut, that's on third. There's Dancewear-R-Us, that's on third too. You got Put-Your-Butt-In-Dancewear? That's on third. Swing Low, Sweet Danskin... Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the dancewear complex on third. Over in the dancewear district.

I would guess that different kinds of dance suggest different kinds of clothing; tango is different from ballroom is different from ballet, for instance. What kind of dance class are you taking? ...search for information on that. Perhaps your best source of information would be from fellow classmates or an instructor. Unfortunately, too many people here--like those above--seem to care too much about looking good while doing nothing to know how to look good while doing something. Me, I don't dance, so I can't help except to wish you the best of luck.

Thank you Mr. Scorpio.

The OP may have posted a serious question. I do ballroom dance and real dance shoes have a sueded bottom. I dance enough that I might buy a pair, but I'm wary of construction. AFAIK, EG, JL, Alden, etc. don't make dance shoes.

What sort of dancewear are you after? There's a massive range - from practice gear through to full competition tailsuits.

As others have said, it sort of depends on what style you're doing.

Eg, I do competitive ballroom and have three pairs of shoes - two that I use for competition (viva Latin and Supadance Modern Ballroom) and a pair of sneakers that I use for staffing at social classes (embarrassingly enough I can't think of the brand).

For shoes, if you're only doing social dancing (and not competitive ballroom, for instance), then you're probably best off with dance sneakers, as found on (for instance):

http://www.supadance.com/

Dance sneakers don't have the suede bottom of 'proper' ballroom shoes (and they're not exactly fashionable), but they're very flexible and will fit your foot perfectly.

Not really sure about the other stuff - if you want to be more specific I can probably help further.

I have done several online shopping for Dance wear and I would like to recommend www.pleasurefill.com however I am from UK so I am using their local shopping, but I guess their international shopping aren't expensive & they sell mainly latest trends, good quality, and lots of varieties too. I think you found all these from there.
