Thanks to everyone for the advice and well wishes. I am looking forward to having functional knees again, its been a few years. I hope that there is an internet connection in the rehab hospital; hanging out with the old folks might be pretty boring. I'm only 27, so my doctor is pretty optimistic about my recovery time.

Both knees at 27? Wow.

Yikes! Knee replacement surgery is a big deal. Expect to have another procedure for both knees about 15-20 years down the road.

yeah. I have hemophilia which is a main reason that my knees are wrecked.

yeah, they wear out after awhile. hopefully in twenty years the technology is even more advanced and I only have to get them redone once.
