Thoughts on Finest Threads ebay seller?

Hey I am in need of a suit for law school. I happen to see one on his auction list that should fit me.

He has one negative feedback in 17 pages that bothered me:
"Fake! 200% fake shirt! Not Happy at all! Very high shippingcoasts"

While he had this one issue, he has 17 pages of happy customers. Without knowing if the customer was mad about shipping prices or he really got a fake shirt, I have issues deciding about this seller.

Anyone have any thoughts here?

Thanks,
Joe

P.S.
I have been on the look out for a week or 2 in the B&S thread but nothing in my size it seems.

Back when I was doing heavy Ebay purchases I had dealing with him. Twice. His stuff are genuine, but MAY be older in age than stated. You really gotta double check. He does have good, high resolution pictures, and offer multiple views. So to summarize, I would not doubt the authenticity. But like all Ebay clothing purchases, you gotta know exactly what you are buying and always go by the measurements.

He's OK and a typical Ebay seller.

A lot of hype and well designed ads. As I recall he uses a distinctive black background in his ads.

He tends to get high prices ( at least by Ebay standards), becuse of his traffic and hype.

Sometimes he's a bit shady/deceptive. He's the kind of seller to advertise a Zegna Tessuto suit as "An Ermenegildo suit", when he's well aware that it is not.

As stated he also has a lot of old stuff that he hypes up. Things like Armani with the very old Mani label, and old Oxxfords.

Having said all that, you can get a good value and suit from him but tread carefully.

Is there a specific suit that you are considering? Post a link here and you'll get some expert input.

As to 1 Negative Feedback that concerned you, are you familiar with toolhaus.org and have you looked here

BTW: What size are you and what type of suit are you looking for?

I didn't catch the Like New part. I guess I will wait and see if highroller comes through on something in the near future.

I personally think that is a lot of money for a ventless jacket... I don't know anyone making ventless jackets currently, so that dates it.. I think you'd be better off with Nitr-o for Isaia, who occasionally surfaces here and can give info.. the stucture of Nitr-o's auctions are a bit over the top, but he has the goods a lot of other members post Isaia as well nothing against finest threads specifically, I just think that jacket is way over-priced

$499 is too much. It's ventless (nothing wrong with that, but is not "trendy", everybody is looking for side vents). Gray is a nice and versatile color, though.

I would at most pay $150.

I missed that too and I think that is a part of how his auctions are setup
$500 for a used, older Isaia jacket is highway robbery for someone that follows the trends on this forum

Thanks for the feedback. I have some time to get this. I will try to lurk around a bit more to find a deal on a more up to date suit. I was ok with the 599 that highroller is charging. I was just having trouble finding the solid color and size 46. I will search Nitr-o's stuff and hope someone will remember in the coming weeks on here. I had found Canali's at a retail store for 599 and the Corneliani's for 799. But neither had my size and/or the solid print. Thanks for the input.
