I would wear those with a hockey jersey, no pants, and that's it.

You could easily dye them black.

I might be biased because I'm a perennial Paul Smith fan. I have those in tan suede and love it. Very comfortable.

Those grey 3 eyelet ones are called Walter.

I went down 1/2 size with my Burtons.

Zippyh: my first pair of Burtons were in Buffalino Bluebird size 9.5 and hey haven't stretched a bit, still a perfect fit. Based on those I purchased the dip dye Tan (I remember they were really hard to get hold of) but the leather has given much more, don't now why? I have one other unworn pair in red suede, wondering if I should keep and take the risk they don't stretch or sell them new when they still have best value.

Anyone know how many different colours the Burton's were made in?
I know there was another Navy version very similar to the Buffalino Bluebird. A blue/cyan suede like my red ones. There was also a very nice Cherry colour. I think there were also plain black, plain brown and plain Tan.

Funny, I've got two pairs of blue Burtons. I've got the Bluebirds and I also have a pair in a smoother plain leather in navy.
I remember there was a purple buffalino and I think also a kind of very pale green.

Was at the Sale store today, not been there in about 3 months, and they had Burtons in blue or brown but they had contrasting highlight around the edge of the seams and under the holes on the toe. I think this is very similar to the Paul Smith / John Lobb collaboration.

That reminds me. Leather Soul Waikiki had PS X JL collaborations for half off as of a week ago.
Tried on the grey suede Willoughby chukka. They were nice enough but I still didn't feel like paying $650 or so for them.
I got some black Lobb monks instead.
