Official Paul Smith Shoe Thread... all PS shoe questions here - Page 307

I managed to find these trainers on sale: http://www.soletrader.co.uk/Paul-Smith-Shoe-Rabbit-Trainers/pid-rabblklh , but I'm not sure what to match these black shoes with... Any ideas? Or I shouldn't get them at all? 

Ah, the Paul Smith thread.. Strange to see that RFX45 hasn't posted in here in over a year. PS was all the rage on this board three or four years ago. Ricards were on everyone's wish list. You could count on RFX posting photos of his newest purchase like every other day. It's crazy how drastically the SF aesthetic has changed over a very short time. I'd love to see some stats on things like WAYWT brand prevalence. Like a month by month graph of how often fit pics were posted wearing Paul Smith, or BoO or Clark's dbs, etc. It would be interesting to see the trends.

just got these babes with a pair of brown suede millers, i wasn't into them at first, but after trying them, i really liked them they are beautiful sandals but little tight widthwise, hope they will stretch a bit

god I thought they only come w/ brown!!! where did u get them

i found them in leather brown (Tan), i didn't really like them (they look old for my taste), but the blue suede really rocks!

 

For anybody else who got these, can you recommend a shoe polish to use?

 

They still look fantastic after months of wearing them just looking to give them a bit of a spit shine.

Don't use paste wax on the dip dye models. It gets kind of crusty when it dries and is hard to remove the excess.
You're also not going to get a real shine on them except perhaps on the toes and heels.

Hey guys, i would appreciate your thoughts on these derby shoes (yay or nay)

Are they Cage or Cages? I really like them although I don't know what the fit is like.

On a different note: does anyone else find that the Burton's come up large. I purchased my regular size (UK 9.5) and the fit was fine at first but they've given a bit with wear, I actually think I could of gone down to a 9 in hindsight. I usually always take my actual size in PS Mainline but these seem to have broken the rule. Anyone else found the same regarding the sizing. I am thinking of selling them and I believe they are now discontinued?

Cages are 6 eyelet derbys.
Those grey 3 eyelet ones are called Walter.
