Sorry, I worded wrong. I meant without having to go to a cobbler to get his opinion if they can be resoled, not to resole them myself or anything like that.

a japanese girl recognized my paul smith sneakers at the botanical garden today and I felt like my life had meaning

Quick shoe question:

So I'm planning on buying some paul smith boots. I wear most shoes in US11...and Ferragamo shoes in whatever the european/italian sizing equivalent of 10.5 is. Do I buy the boots in a 10 or 10.5?

Each model is different (for reference I wear 10.5US and I wear a 8.5UK in the Ricards)

This isn't shoe related but it is Paul Smith related.

The guardian had an article today on how to "transform a vintage shirt into a Paul Smith shirt." Somewhat interesting: http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandsty...ture=342880746

If one normally wears an 11.5 US in most dress shoes, what size (UK) Ricard would you suggest? Awhile back I remember reading size down .5 from your normal dress shoe size in general for PS.

btw, Paul Smith has a cute little outlet store on Grand Street in my neck of Brooklyn.

When I last checked, the shoe stock was diverse. Loafers in pow! colors, etc.

^^ that's cool. Sounds better than an actual outlet, as the outlet store in London is pretty bad even tho in theory it sounds like it'd be great

He's also opening a new store in San Francisco late Spring this year

Hey Guys:

I purchased the PS/Triumph camel suede boots (8uk) from Somatoform last week, and they are too long for me, so they are up in B/S section now:

Anyone? Get Smart? I would not normally bump my question like this, but it is a time sensitive purchase.

I thought I'd also add that I've had a pair of JV chukka boots in 11 US that had enough room in front of the toe. The toe box tapered and it felt a little tight on one foot, but still wearable. Thanks again

Is it really that difficult to search this thread?

Ricards fit true to size

Took a few shots of my black Ricards tonight. They've been worn 5 or 6 times now and are starting to look pretty sexy IMO...
