I just came across this auction from an "Alden Dealer". Here is some of his/her copy and the web address.

These shoes are special ordered for you in YOUR size. The Plain Toe Blucher comes in sizes 8-13 C,D,& E. Shown, is the Color 8 Shell Cordovan. This style also comes in Black Shell Cordovan. Interesting, is this an Alden dealer selling directly to the customer with the wholesale price? This same Ebay seller was also selling the Indy boot for about $30 off retail. Is this legit?


Too bad I'm way over the "plain" looking shell cordovan shoes. I've got a couple pair of special orders coming

He is an authorized dealer and has a storefront. I imagine he's trying to clear some inventory.

The high boots (indy boots?) in shells are special orders only, so I don't think there'd be a special price.
