Platonic relationships?

Can you watch TV with a girl at midnight platonicly? More specifically, can you watch Cruel Intentions with a girl at midnight platonicly?

I found out recently that you can't. Wtf.

It takes a lot of willpower, but it is possible. I have forced myself to watch numerous movies with numerous platonic girl friends. Then again, I'm evidently a freak of nature.

Whatever you do, draw the line at platonic sleepovers. That's unacceptable.

Meh, I've had platonic sleepovers and friendships with girls. I have some female friends who are very close, but out of respect to my relationship I won't take it past hugs.

Front hugs or side hugs?

This but i'm single. I have a friend who has perfect chemistry with me and we play off eachother well and are mostly on the same page. Lately, since i've been single, we have been hanging out more. She has slept over a few times, twice in my bed, but nothing has happened. Not even a kiss. I don't know, i don't think things will happen either. She seems pretty cool with it as well and we just honestly enjoy each other's company, moreso than a fair amount of our same sex friends.

Another girl i'm good friends with became friends with me while i had a girlfriend and now we're still strictly platonic. We've been hanging out a good amount the past month and it's going well. I actually helped her get laid this past weekend with a guy who she had a "will they/wont they" thing going on with. I helped them out a bit and then as we were hanging out at his place, i took her friend who was with us and basically just abandoned her and told her to get the job done. She said that she'd actively help me find a hook up if i wanted it too and gave me a run down of possible candidates among her friends.

I generally make friends easier with girls than guys (always have) so this might account for it. Don't get me wrong, it's unavoidable to think about the friend relationship/sex wise at times but for the most part the friend benefits outweigh the relationship ones. Plus, some have boyfriends and i'm just straight friends with them. I can tolerate girls a bit below me intellectually/humor wise muce easier than guys that are the same. I dunno, maybe it's just me and i'll have a post in a month talking about how i hooked up with one of my 2 good female platonic friends.

The friend zone is the worst zone to be in. Only platonic relationships I have with girls are ones with decen personalities with looks I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Hahaha. The two ones i'm friends with aren't exactly lookers either. Not circus ugly or anything, but just not that attractive.

Once I had a "platonic friend", she was hot as hell and she told me I remembered her her first love, but she was in a long term relationship with other guy.

So she came home, we cooked, had dinner, watched movies together, we cuddled, she gave me some no-tongue kisses on the lips, we slept together.

I tell you. this is not healthy.

I wanted to f$ck her so hard, but I refrained myself out of respect for her and her relationship status and our friendship that was also good....

But after a while I just realised that I was being used as a complement for her couple relationship that didn't satisfied her on the friend-soulmate aspect. So she could have the friend-soulmate with me and the sex with the other guy.

So I just stoped being available for her, and it just faded away.

Ask yourself if you want to be this guy.

That's indeed most of my female platonic friendships. Another pattern is girls I have slept with. I can live with having a platonic relationship with them once that's out of the picture.
