I think it may be fine if you're a body guard, which I suppose Jet Li can do. But that is it. And what is he doing with his bottom button done?

It's a horrible look that can look good only 1% of the time, but is often the preferred choice 99% of the time.

3" of cuff, bear minimum. If you're built like Jet Li (compact, short, fit), err on the side of 5".

I once went with 30" cuffs. It's the best of both worlds - a cuffed trouser with the look of plain hem, and I can keep candy and change in the cuff.

To answer Cordovan, it is considered perfectly acceptable in many circles of business in Asia (especially Japan) to wear a three piece black suit with all three buttons done. The suits are usually cut to accomodate this being the norm. Check out images from Japanese news on businessmen addressing a Japanese audience and you'll find it is actually quite common.

I agree. Especially, if you're an Asian guy with long dark hair, a 1 button black suit does wonder to your image. However, I still think that a black suit in the day time is too solemn.

hilarious.

To answer the question though, I have seen it on my Asian businessmen. The entire look(all black) is not very common in business circle though

What do you guys think of this look? I used to go into interviews with black suit, light blue shirt and pink / purple metallic tie, but I might try to full black look now.
