What do you guys think about this. I really like the look Jet Li pulled off in War.

What do you guys think of this look? I used to go into interviews with black suit, light blue shirt and pink / purple metallic tie, but I might try to full black look now.

I think it's a fine look...

...if you are interviewing for the position of triad enforcer.

Jet Li gets away with it only because he can beat the living hell out of anybody who laughs at him.

If this post is serious, run the following searches and read for the next 2 days, and your question will be fully answered. "black suit" "interview attire" "black shirt" "proper sleeve length"

All black is the uniform of a professional backup musician. Last Saturday night I wore:

Black suit--3 button with notch lapels and silk covered buttons
Black Kenneth Cole Shirt
LONG Black Silk Tie
Black Patent Leather BLUCHERS

These were the clothes I wore in front of over 4000 people, per my contractor's detailed instructions. (Actually he suggested a black formal shirt with no collar and a diamond stud for the top button)

Would I be caught on the street wearing those duds? NO

Was it exactly what the client wanted? YES

The guy to the left of Jet Li, is his head naturally crooked? On another note, I think Jet Li dresses like that because he's about to be someone's undertaker.

The guy in the center is not wearing a tie.

either way you look at it ... the suit is too big for Li ... look at the length of the sleeves!

Why am I not surprised that you are still interviewing?

Also, it would have been nice if it had a few more buttons to button.

Joel, what are your thoughts on a black suit/shirt/tie combo with cuffed trousers?
