It works for me, and as stated before, I don't know if it works for everyone (but thought I would throw it out there just in case). Paypal sometimes issues codes that are valid only to people that they sent the e-mails to.

You could have quite a nice arbitrage business going -- Assuming people on SF spend $10,000 a day on paypal, that's a saving of $100 with your code. They paypal you $10,000, you receive $9,700 (i.e. minus fees), you pay $900 (post discount code) for what the SF members want, and split the $700 savings two ways.

You'd make $10,000 a month!

Seems to only work on eBay, and you had to be specifically sent the code for it to work. Still worth checking your email to see if you got it.

OK, get your wife to list an item on ebay for one cent with $100,000 shipping.

Listing fees are $0.20 only.

Buy it. Paypal her $100,000.01

She receives $97,000 (i.e after paypal deducts its fees from her as recipient). Since it sold for a penny, there are no ebay final sale fees.

Paypal deducts only $90,000 from you 'cos you got 10% discount code.

You just made $7000 sitting at your laptop.

Yeah, max is $100 savings. Otherwise, good plan.

good plan in theory but paypal would put your account on their bullshit hold SO FAST you wouldn't know what to do. Stuff like that can get ur account locked for 180 days with ur funds "frozen".
