As I said, the collections that season were 'inspired' by Chasidic styles of dress. The reaction to the first runway show is here. Not sure if it is men's and women's, or just the latter.

Other pieces, like the one pictured, carried this inspiration farther afield, but are part of the same collection. As for the term 'frummie,' I understood it to be a very mild term often used by frum [very observant] Jews themselves, as here:
