I just gave you the lyrics to a nice song that I listen to when I'm in a similar situation, although its not exactly cheery.

Well some things never change...
You'll never see this face again,
I'm out sleeping with the stars in the shallow end.
'Life' ('love') is just a word I don't want to say,
I don't care if tomorrow is a new day.
I'll write the song again,
How about the one who thought life wasn't his friend?
Why would he want the words to be shared?
When no one listens, and no one cares.
I'd skip this fucking song
if you don't want to know whats fucking wrong.
Did you hear my acceptance speech?
I quit. I quit. i fucking quit."
You don't want to know why i can't quite talk.
You don't want to know what makes my heart stop.
You wrote my requiem
with no words, no life, just desperation.
There's no truth like the lie I live
I'm a sinking ship drowning by a burning bridge.
There's no cure for the "Dreamer's Disease"
I'm a boat of false hope, lost at sea.
Today, tonight, tomorrow,
I am truly by myself.

you don't want to know why I can't quite talk.
you dont want to know what makes my heart stop.

You say those fucking words, but what the fuck do they mean? Nothing.
Life is just a word that I won't say.
Love is just a word that I'll never know.
Life is just a game that I wont play.
Love is just a lie that I wont believe.

Amazing that you could even read it. I tried to dumb it down for you, I guess it worked. Obviously you missed it when I said THIS:

Otherwise your shitty little attack on me is completely unwarranted. Not to mention in bad taste. I.E. Stop being a fucktard.

one feels ice in an occasional bed
one feels alone and beaten by the lost years but its an easy task
because truly with time
we don't love anymore

Dude, I envy you. A broken heart is a rare gift. That's when you know for sure that you're really fucking alive! Wallow in it, man. Plus, people who break hearts and never get their broken in return don't know what it is to be human. They suck. Having a broken heart is to live in the fullness of your being. Props to you.

By the way, I am in a bad goddamn mood and I have no patience for people who think now is a good time to take cheap shots at me. Sorry.

You're right, I did miss it. My bad. It's been a long time since I was in your shoes but I was trying to share with you what helped me get past it. Obviously not what you needed. I hope you feel better.

Oh, I'm wallowing. Trust me. I don't want to forget this feeling. It's a reminder to what happens when I'm stupid and let my guard down.

Apology accepted. It's been a long time for me too. What helped me get through it last time was 5 solid days of sleep. Thats not really an option this time around. The thought of banging a bunch of sluts, while appealing on some certan level, wouldn't really help me. I'm just not wired that way.

Thanks again for being reasonable though.

Dude, keep letting it down. Don't be a pussy. Take your licks and come back for more. It sucks but it has it's own peculiar charm. Once you're over it you forget what that particular hell is all about, until it happens again. Getting reminded every few years keeps you young.

I'm on about a 10 year cycle at the moment. And I fail to see anything charming about it.
