On clearance at the Brooks website 50% off. Seem to have most sizes from 7 through 13.

Ok, they are listed as having rubber soles. The sample picture shows a pair with leather soles, right? How much thicker is the rubber sole versus the leather? These better not sell out by tomorrow >=O

They've been at this price for several weeks.

The ones in the pic have rubber soles. Dainite.

dainite soles are pretty dressy - my dark brown grenson jodphurs have a dainite sole. it goes well with denim.

i generally assume they're made by alfred sargent if they're something that is relatively new in the catalog.

I have no boots at all, and they look pretty nice. Plus I just got a BB card...

I have learned from Brooks Brothers that the sole is indeed rubber, and that the boots are made by Alfred Sargent. Has anyone pulled the trigger on these?
