Zegna Suit and Sportcoats 42S & 42L (lots of photos)

Last price drop before they hit the 'bay.

Hi all, since the disasterous take up of my previous selling post, I thought I'd try moving some potentially more desirable stuff. I really would welcome feedback on my presentation.

1. Zegna 15 MilMil 15 suit in Grey with blue and red checks. The labelled size is 42C. $325 + delivery from the UK

The suit has been worn once and has a slight mark on the front, which should come out with a dry clean. I've also let the cuffs out (only removed the thread) so see what the total length available would be. They can easily be re-attached.

It comes with the spare buttons and material swatch (although the pockets are opened).

It really is in excellent condition, my only reason for sale is that I've got far too many suits and I would have to alter the sleeves slightly for it to provide me with a slightly better fit.

Please note, there are no marks on the trousers, it's simply the sunlight (rare over here)

Measurements
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam: 19"
"¢ Armpit to Armpit: 22"
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Cuff: 24"
"¢ Jacket Length: 31.5 (including collar)
"¢ No of Buttons on Jacket: 3
"¢ No of Buttons on Cuff: 4
"¢ No of Vents: 2
"¢ Waist: 35
"¢ No of Pleats: 2
"¢ Inseam: 29 (+ 2 without the cuffs)
"¢ Outseam: 40
"¢ Cuffed: removed by me.

2. Zegna Napoli Couture Navy sportscoat. There is no size label on the coat, but the measurements suggest it's a 42 Long. It is half lined, but without the "xxx" lining of some similar items.

$300 + shipping from the UK

The coat is in good condition. However, it has a few pulls on the material. I am going to try and rectify some of these pulls, however it's fair to mention them.

The coat also has besom pockets (which is rare for Zegna).

Measurements
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam: 19.5"
"¢ Armpit to Armpit: 22.5"
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Cuff: 26.5"
"¢ Jacket Length: 33.5 (including collar)
"¢ No of Buttons on Jacket: 3
"¢ No of Buttons on Cuff: 4
"¢ No of Vents: 2

3. Zegna Black (or Midnight Blue) with subtle Blue checks Sportcoat 42S.

This sportscoat is in excellent condition (near mint). There is nothing more to say about it.
$100 + shipping from the UK

Measurements
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam: 19"
"¢ Armpit to Armpit: 22"
"¢ Shoulder Seam to Cuff: 24"
"¢ Jacket Length: 31 (including collar)
"¢ No of Buttons on Jacket: 3
"¢ No of Buttons on Cuff: 4
"¢ No of Vents: 2

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions.

Many thanks

Thanks E, I appreciate it. I'm not really an experienced seller on this site and I wondered whether I'd got the Style Forum "formula" wrong. I hope that members can see the quality of the items I'm selling.

I hope that the little one is ok also.

Agreed. Some beautiful stuff!

Does the suit really have a 23" inseam -- ""¢ Inseam: 23 (+ 2 without the cuffs)?" Not to be rude (as my own measurements are far from typical) but 23" inseam seems pretty short and the pix of the trousers don't seem to reflect those proportions.

Well spotted that man!!! You are absolutely correct, the inseam is wrong. It's actually 29". I've corrected the mistake and thanks for taking the time to point it out.

I think I have an identical, or at least VERY similar jacket to that cashmere Zegna Napoli Couture. Mine is green rather than blue, but it has besom pockets and the weave of the fabric looks the same. It is without question my favorite jacket. The fabric is light but warm and relatively sturdy. The stitching is very high quality. In two years mine has developed a few pulls too, but nothing awful, and I don't care. I hope to wear it for decades.

Thanks for the comments J, it is a lovely jacket. It really is a good bargain for the price, but I hope that someone does recognise this.

Cheers again
