Favorite youtube Rap Freestyles....... - Page 2

That Papoose bit is good, but it's obviously not a freestyle and Gift of Gab from Blackalicious did the same thing years ago. I can't find it on YT, but you can't mention Sage freestyles without bringing up Sage vs. The Underground Kid. Aesop Rock, Vast Aire, and C-Rayz, all high as hell

Too late. Paul Wall already did when he hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200, got nominated for a Grammy, and had his album "The People's Champ" go platinum. What more is there to prove?

In round 2 Serius' freestyle didn't even rhyme! But Jin got frustrated and it showed, even though he was fire and he lost the crowd.

Paul Wall is an anomaly. He rose to the top partially by his association with other Swisha House rappers (remember Still Tippin'?). There are disproportionately few white rappers who've seen mainstream success when you compare with the underground labels who are presumably not as concerned with an artist's image.

Paul wall is a spot on the back of hip hop. He is commercialized Pop hop, if you want any rapping and lyrical talent look up people signed to Epithaph and Rhymesayers.

Part one and Part two.

Eyedea looks like a hick but is a fucking dynamo at freestyling.

You know Eyedea wrote First Born when he was 18/19? Amazing.

ugh, kind of hate to admit i have heard this BUT it is pretty funny

for some reason this clip of Cam'Ron on Rap City doesn't have the video, just audio http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSt7IjkF7xc
It gets even more awesome after about 2:00. Yeah I know the same verse later appeared on an album song but it was way inferior on anything but the "Dreams" beat.

Oh yeah, this one with the impressions was pretty great. That guy Wax was fun. Also liked that Lloyd Banks verse over "Victory" EDIT: Hold up! Remembering Adeem vs. Mac Lethal, Sage Francis v. Underground Kid? This was NOT a very big scene back in 2001 on the internet. Do I know any of you from Hip Hop Infinity or PF boards? (kind of hoping the answer is no...)
