Damn, I'm selling my house - Arts and Crafts, 4 bedrooms, good school district, 25 min to NYC - perfect for you. Oh well.

Good luck.

It's really cute, but I kind of feel bad because it stresses her out.

She's mellowed out a bit, though, which is good. I suspect, however, that she'll be right back in gear starting next weekend, given she has baby showers on the next two Saturdays.

Would the good news stop? I mean seriously, I can't handle all this.

Also, people who I need to know were coming up to introduce themselves to me. That was pretty cool.

Had a day off yesterday, this city is amazing.

I forgot to mention this the other day but I had a chance to share a cab with a veritable titan of industry. He knew who I was (my publication wrote a piece about him a day earlier) and we shot the shit for a while. That was really cool.

So much other good stuff has happened, I just don't know what do, I really don't.

I'm also kind of upset I'll be (in theory) leaving this job soon. At least my contacts will help me in the future as the plan is to remain in the field I cover, just not as a journalist.

Caught a little played 90s song this morning. Filter and Crystal Method doing "Why Can't You Trip Like I Do?" Brings back some good memories of grungy industrial after hours clubs.

School started today, and it dawned on me that our son didn't get kicked out of summer camp like he did last year. YAY PROGRESS!

You know I actually wonder what 'brand development' entails (note, don't read as entrails), I mean sure it does sound like a particularly superfluous and somewhat evil field (like marketing), but perhaps it's just an unfortunate name for some sort of cross between a graphic designer and a business strategist?

Here's the plot by age, if you're interested.

Hm, perhaps I ought to buy an iPhone and answer their little questioner, should bring the average down by a good margin ... .
