things that are making you happy - Page 3745

Forced socialization at work is the worst. There is a team picnic tomorrow that I was basically guilted into attending. So fucking rude.

I told them weeks in advance that I had tentative plans to visit a friend in August during this weekend and to count me out but they gave me SO MUCH RESISTANCE and WHY'S and JUST GO LATER to the point of being unprofessional in my opinion. They were doing it in a joking manner, which is fine for 10 seconds. But to harp on it for literally several minutes in a team meeting in front of everyone?

Yeah, fuck off.

Same thing happened to my coworker buddy on the same team. We're going to get a good buzz going before we get there and during. Also forcing everyone to play drinking games with us like beer pong and flip cup. To take it further, we're going to guilt our boss into doing a keg stand. We have a pretty casual team environment, so no worries.

You gon force us to go? We gon force you to make it tolerably fun. I already made them change the catering menu to serve us dat tangy carolina pulled pork cue.

I received a handwritten letter from my daughter in the missionary training center written entirely in (simple, but perfect) Japanese. She has been there three weeks and is doing great. smile.gif

Am happy with how parent teacher went, given the train wreck it was last time. Improved behaviour from the boy made me smile.

One day he came with me to Leffot when I was picking up a resole and he was looking at their shoes all, wow, nice shoes are awesome. A week later he comes strolling in with John Lobbs. Now I make fun of his gemming.

My bespoke lasts are ready. I am excite.

Why would you take a sartorial rival to leffot and subject yourself to self-blowing up of spot??

He wasn't a rival. He needed help. Also, he kind of followed me there. He has a bit of a guy crush on me.
