At least for me spending to spend, which it reads that's what that guy in SR's link is doing, is just stupid and the sign of someone insecure or missing something in life. It's like the research I've read that shows a rude SA in a high end store usually makes bigger sales as most people react by spending more in hopes of showing the rude SA how "important" they are through spending. I don't run into rude SAs or service staff often but my reaction is to leave vs. dropping dollars.

Sometimes an experience cost money. If you're seeking the experience it's not about the spend and I think much more satisfying. However, I'm a Scot at heart so getting deals is important to me. Traveling off-season and getting the big suites for 1/4 the price of in season is what makes me happy. smile.gif

No. I was the guy who ran for cover when standing at attention music was about to be played. I was a terrible garrison Joe.

I received a phone call from my mother, who had recently been very, very sick. The call was at an unusual time so I thought "Oh no, this cannot possibly be a good thing." (It is usually bad news when she calls off her normal schedule of calling.) Turns out she wanted to order a pizza online and could not figure out how to do so. I ordered the pizza from remote location.

This could as easily go in hibblety-gibb but I prefer to put it here. If you don't get it, you don't get it. If you do, be happy.
