That's still the uniform I see in my mind's eye when someone mentions the Brewers.
Also those awful brown Padres uniforms and the Astros' rainbow stripes.

Those uniforms are the best in the histories of all those teams, IMO. Of course part of the reason I think so is that I grew up with them.

Those uniforms are sweet.

It is a nice uniform there is no doubt about it, but I prefer when uniforms have the city rather than team name.  Also, I really like the lack of names on the uniforms.  As a kid, I hated it, but I appreciate the aesthetics more now.

Even for home uniforms? Back then the Twins had "Twins" on their road jerseys too. I think it looked better than the "Minnesota" they have now; it's too many letters.

That's a fair point.  Team name on home jerseys is fine.

I have a soft spot for the early 90s Cleveland Indians jerseys with the piping up the side. (It's probably nostalgia for Major League.)

I think they introduced those in 1989, right before the throwback/traditionalist fad hit.

If you're a Cleveland fan you've got to love these!

Those dark uniforms have to be rough in the summer heat.

Yeah, I prefer the ones with the script "Milwaukee" to the older ones in the block "Brewers." Those are the uniforms I grew up with!
