Overheard conversation:

A: They're called staymps because they're design to stay on the envelope not fall right off.
B: What's the m-p part for then?
A: It's an abbreviation for "stay im place."
B: Oh, I get it. Staymp.

Great Saturday so far and now chilling for a couple of hours before we leave for a nice wine maker's dinner with friends. Should be an awesome night. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

On an Apple device, that emoji appears as a peach.

I had a few fun experiences in the South.

1. I got coal rolled
2. I witnessed my first open-carrier
3. I found out that it's a thing in the South to beep your car horn in a tunnel, I guess because the echo effect is pretty cool sounding or something like that

I finally put together a foolproof way to get visiting Yankees to go home and stay there.

When you see one, here's what you do:

1. Give 'em a big blast of smoke from the stacks on the dually.
2. Make sure they get a good look at the ol' Colt Python you keep on your hip.
3. When they're running afeared from our fair Dixie, give 'em some good blasts from the horns on the dually, just so they know you've got your eye on 'em. Extra points if it's in a tunnel, 'cause the echo will make 'em think they're surrounded.

I tried this on some soft-handed carpetbagger over the weekend, and it worked like a charm. I didn't know a Prius could go so fast!

When I read "open carrier" I thought of someone drinking a beer openly while driving.

I've noticed those rolling coal guys get upset when you pass them on a two lane road. It's sort of funny how pissed off a couple of them have gotten at me for flying by then in a passing zone.

Saw The Lion King (musical) this past weekend.  I've seen it several times in different locations over the years, and it's always been impressive.  Visually, it brings a sense of wonder to the mente.

To clarify, it's the one based off the Disney movie.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Not to be confused with Donald Trump's recent musical about Ted Cruz, called the Lyin' King.

I had no idea coal rolling was a thing. The south never ceases to amaze

This will blow your mind.

The only thing that surpasses the cowardly malice  of doing that is the myopic egotism it would require to record it and put it up on the internet

I love how green and lush the grass gets in spring... otherwise I generally despise its maintenance and appearance.

Speaking of grass and maintenance, I recently trimmed my hedges to where my garter snake han leveled up to girthy Python snake.

Probably should throw some Miracle Gro on there as well, and maybe a bottle of Round-Up.

Miracle Gro is right bc it'd take a damn miracle to see this King Cobra get any larger (law of large numbers and all dat jazz).
