EDIT - I can't tell if it was i-pad or i-phone or i-mac, it was definitely i-something.

DOUBLE EDIT - Oh she's throwing shit now too.

TRIPLE EDIT - I think it was the NEW i-pad, It appears she has the old i-pad.

QUADRUPLE EDIT - Oh fuck, there goes the reindeer. She's kicking over the Christmas ornaments they have on their front lawn. Goddamn if I were a lesser man I'd video all this. 15 year old girls in pajamas breaking shit, there's gotta be a market for that.

QUINTUPLE EDIT - Here come the cops. Fun is over.

You should definitely be filming the cops.

Moved into new house. Wife had the good idea of driving down a week before xmas and moving the major stuff (90% of it) since the weather was so unseasonably warm in the north east.

I rented one of those 20ft uhaul trucks WITH my car hitched on a trailer
and drove that motherfucker 14hrs to Nashville. It wasn't that bad, even driving through NYC through the bronx and george Washington bridge.

What is hard is backing/going backwards with those trucks + car trailer. Scary moment was when I spaced out and forgot I was driving a huge truck and almost went into a low bridge, had to back it out then divert through tight assed residential streets that had deep sloping shoulders.

Also there was a serious tornado warning in Nashville the other night and we still had a ton of boxes/furniture to move inside. Was semi laughing while scared running stuff in while those tornado sirens blaring thinking of the absurdity of possibly losing the whole house the damn days we moved in.

Today I'm doing a Jewish xmas - Asian food then star wars (on a legit imax theater icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif )

Those things ain't bad on the highway. It's the city driving that sucks. Had to back a 28' into a loading dock on a city street. Then when I pulled out someone had illegally parked across the street to the point where I literally could not get out of the dock since I was wedged between parked cars across the street, a construction dumpster to my right, and the loading dock walk to my left. Some guys were trying to help me and made it worse to the point I couldn't get back into be dock. I was blocking the road and an irate bus driver wanted to beat the shit out of me. Finally the person came out and moved their car and I did not get the shit beat out of me.

Then on the other end of the move, the street was down to one lane. I was about halfway through the construction area, and a guy starts coming the other way. I get into a Mexican standoff with him and he refuses to move. I'm pretty sure I said "you're really going to make me back up a 28' box truck?" with much more colorful language. Then I realized that it's probably bad to get into it with someone who is that stubborn and selfish, so I backed up my fucking 28' moving truck halfway down the fucking block and let the idiot go. Then I was so pissed I almost clipped another idiot at the next intersection who was pulled up way past the stop line.

tl;dr: I hate box trucks and always give anyone in a rental truck a wide berth when I'm on the road.

If I was a neighbor I would have called the cops, just to make it worse.

And then just sit and wait with my hot cocoa.

For some reason I am beloved by cats. When I arrived at my falmly's home, my mother's cat basically leaped half way across the room to greet me.

If she's that out of control, yup. These days dealing with a teenager that's physically acting out is a sure way to get yourself in family court.

He smells delicious because he smokes the cat-nip to improve his songwriting abilities.

Being a grown-ass man, I do not expect gifts from my parents, but they still do it. Especially my mom. My wife and I have both tried to actively discourage her from buying us clothes because she gets really kitschy stuff from Boscov's and Bon-Ton. This year, she actually nailed it and got me a bomber jacket. Objectively, it's nothing worth bragging about (synthetic matuhrrials and whatnot), but it's nice to get something I can actually wear. I always feel guilty donating the NWT stuff she gives us. (She outright refuses to include gift receipts.)

Also: I won $20 on the scratcher on my stocking. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif First round is on me.

Also also: I just realized I have a perfect hourglass figure. 40-34-40. Too bad I am a biological male.

i live on a tiny cove. we always have a lot of birds (pelicans are my favorite). sometimes you can observe runs of fish when the birds go nuts.

...but not too many mammals. twice i've seen harbor seals, and the other day i heard the distinct "Ort ort ort!" of a lonesome sea lion. fun times.

If you join the feminism thread, you'll learn your gender is whatever you decide.
