It's all for me. I am lactose intolerant. Does provel have lactose or do I need to take my lactase pill?

Just closed on a house in Nashville - Brentwood, TN.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
These last months were a fucking busy assed whirlwind that had the wife and I convincing ourselves not to move, then being flown back to Nashville 3 times with a realtor, having fun looking at properties with the intent of never moving there , and then finding an awesome sensible house that was super duper private -surrounded by tall trees & woods/very end of the road/only 10min from the city.

We didn't go crazy and get a huge mansion or anything, 4bd/3bath/on little over an half acre, because previously owning a house here in CT had me a little snake bit about what a fucking depressing money pit large houses on large plots of land can be. But its weird being on the edge of Nashville and having this much house/privacy/pretty nice lot/beautiful neighborhood for 1/3rd of the price of the same thing here in Fairfield County, CT.

Tennessee's Asian population just went 0 to 1 real quick.

I'm from TN. Nashville is a nice clean city with a slow pace and friendly people. Not much to the state outside of that however.

i've been simmering a long-term plan to visit nashville with my brother, to see the opry and buy grail instruments at gruhn guitars. neither of us are country music fans in particular (or at all, really!) but i'm sure it would be a super fun trip. he just got hitched and i'm sorry i couldn't do it as a bachelor thing but it's def on my bucket list.

happy trails amigo!

its definitely a happy move. I've already lived in SoCal (O.C.), NorCal (SF), NYC (Williamsburg), Boston/CT/Rhode Island, now its time to try the south.

In fairness I had hipster flashbacks of Williamsburg when we were looking at houses right in Nashville.

The wife and I were watching Master of None and the Nashville Episode came up and it was like a sign to move.

There's asians here. Hell the hotel I checked in had a filipino manager. You can't escape asians. I almost got ran over by a chinese family in a parking lot!

Plus in my line of work... asians galore.

Thats why we decided to stay right near the city. There was some awesome huge properties available (like 10-30 acres with streams/lakes) but you're really in the fucking sticks and thats only 30-45min outside of nashville.

I did notice the slower pace. Even on the major highways for the city the right two lanes pretty much go the speed limits or even slower (really do drive 55mph or do 60mph even on the 70mph speed limit zones). Here in the north east everyone/even the highway patrol laugh.gif pushes at least 70mph when traffic permits
