I figured out brokencycle's email address and sometimes I just send him outlook invites from random return addresses to see if he accepts.

Well the random text gives you away, but I'm happy to get 30 minutes free.  It is the only thing I have to look forward to during the day.

Driving home, a woman started blaring her horn at me from behind, presumably because I didn't gun it through the already red traffic light.  After honking, she pulled along side me.

On the other side of the intersection there was a city bus parked with the driver taking a smoke break.  When the light turned green, I just accelerated normally which blocked her from getting over, and she got stuck behind the parked bus.

It may make me a terrible person, but it made me slightly happy.

Crushing it at work.

The guy two levels above me who left and whose responsibilities I wanted to assume? Got em. I think I'm solidly on track to getting a rapid 6-month promotion this winter!!

Just don't get overconfident to where you belittle the other people in the workplace and everyone dislikes you and prevents you from having success. This is a course of events what happens in movies betimes doesn't turn out well for the overconfident person. (Also don't sweep anyone's leg.)

No... I would say this is nearly a requirement of civic duty. LA traffic being what it is this happens all the time with some asshole trying to cut end around at a light or some shit similar to what you described. I will run you straight into that parked bus dickhead, try me.

That's what I pay them for. If they don't like it… there's the door.

Just because he left...... for lunch, you can't just take over his job.

I was sure a goose was going to attack me this morning but I stood my ground and stared him down until he waddled away. What a punk.

Don't try that with a swan unless you have an asp. Swans will seriously mess you up. Believe it or not this is a true story.

A goose will hiss at you like a cat if it has got anger to it. If you keep your distance from the goose (don't get too close), it will be peaceable in its ways that is just a fact of nature. (I walk past geese very often so I know whereof I speak.)

It wasn't humanshaming it was you being unconscious of your human privilege and being "called out."
