Joggers who run like they are being chased.

This sounds incredibly vain, but I believe every would-be runner should take the time to examine their form in the mirror on a treadmill before venturing out there. It will save you a lot of mockery and please remember that you are most likely going to do most of your running close to home where your neighbors can see.

There are a few people in my neighborhood that are now known to some as "chicken head bob guy", and "jazz hands girl" and "that dude who runs like he's in the special olympics"

Even in this world of Brogrammers and lucrative tech startups, engineers can still find ways to not get laid.

I don't get it though. You've got a sweet box truck...why not deck it out some more? If you are going to go full serial killer with just a mattress and a dresser, you would be fine with a normal van (which might then give you things like windows you could open and a more normal driving experience). But if you've got a big box van, you could probably make it pretty habitable inside...

This guy is so cheap that he only uses electricity that his employer pays for?

Also, a 2 bedroom that is shared by 4 people still costs $2000/mo each?  I need to start investing in rental property out there.

He could have done that so much better for about the same money. Kudos on all the cash he's saving and paying off his loans. Seems like one of those save everything and retire at 40 guys.

Why not a camper or something?

Holy shit. Beyond just not getting a date - I wouldn't want this guy even talking to my kids. Or stand downwind of him.

Also, I see that he's saving 90% of his income to invest and pay off student loans, but paid off $6k of loans in four months? What, does Google pay $10 an hour or something??

The stuffed animal thing is a little weird for a 23 yr old male. Also, I'm sure the idea that a pee bottle is one of his most important possessions is disquieting for his fellow employees. He's probably a "morning guy", but what if you need to drop a deuce once you've settled in for the night? confused.gif

Betimes life puts me to condition of stress or sad, but one thing I've learned is that I can put myself to condition of happy by consuming certain chemical concoctions. (I won't say their names because I think they might be a crime.)

Someone in SW&D mentioned they make $100k and some have rent in their compensation packages.

Found it.

Google, not Facebook tongue.gif

But I was being facetious. I have an idea how much Google people make (I recently had a couple of managers leave to join Google and according to them the salaries are competitive). The fact that he makes what I think he makes, and he hasn't made more progress against paying off his loans, makes me smell bullshit
