American sailors really are the best.

I'm glad Sports Illustrated apparently brought back nipples to their Swim Suit issue.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
There was a period back where they airbrushed them out. They'd even airbrush/photoshop out the nips for the painted on bikinis.

now apparently they are just letting it all hang out again, now with painted labia (majora and minora !).

I also remember back in the day (90's) they had this random cable channel that would show fashion runway shows*. And I'd always be excited about the Victorias Secret or other major designers summer show because it was full of boobs/nipples/boob slipping out of skimpy things.

But i guess victoria secret is totally covering up the nips and asscheeks even during their runway shows.

* this channel also had Model Statistics/Focus where they'd dedicate about 60 seconds on a specific model like Gisel Bunchen or Trish Goff with her measurements, hair color, modeling agency, age, and major fashion designers runways. Watching those was like memorizing baseball statistics from my favorite players. So till this day I can recall that Trish Goff is 5'11, was one of the few supermodels who was also a mom during her prime, hails from Pennsylvania, and works with Tom Ford (gucci), Chloe, and Ralph Lauren often.

I am happy that I have made some new Facebook friends recently. It gives me a feeling of great joy when others accept my friendship.

I brown out a lot. I also have a really bad memory, so I'm not quite sure if that is a big part of it. I can get blackout with no major physical signs of being that drunk. I've ran into people I've met while black out and not had any clue I've met them before. For a week it happened 2-3 times. I thought my friends were playing a big elaborate joke on me. No, I was just that drunk.

It also seems that it gives you great pleasure in rejecting those you deem not worth of your friendship.

All this booze talk makes me want to go get my drink on for real. I can't recall the last time I got good and drunk, and I feel like it's something I ought to do from time to time for my mental health.

Also, I don't think I've ever blacked out. I've been puking-your-guts-out drunk and still remember just about everything. I think this is sort of the opposite of B - I have a freaky-good memory, so even copious amounts of booze don't erase it.

Another quirk of my drunkenness is that I can be shitfaced and no one can tell. I show very few obvious signs of drunkenness. Even MrsG has trouble judging whether I'm inebriated.

I get the occasional black out. Usually not from beer, only when I've been drinking hard liquor.

I get the occasional memory haze but rarely a black out, and when I do blackout, usually copious amounts of tequila were involved.

Making me happy? Happy hour in several hours! I have not had a drink since Sunday and I just know there's several cocktails with my name on them.

And foie!

me too. apparently this is the classic definition of a blackout. you could be a functional drunk during that time, but wake up with most/all of your memory erased. i used to think that "blackout" referred to drinking yourself unconscious.

anyway this is the primary reason why i don't like getting drunk anymore. i go out drinking with friends, family, colleagues, clients, bosses - - and if i'm going to do something stupid i need to at least remember that i did it laugh.gif

Nothing like picking up a new suit from the tailor to put a smile on my face.

Only 24 hours stands between me and 9 days of vacation (and the end of a 21 day stretch without a day off) including 3 days with the wife in Charleston, SC for our anniversary and 4 days with good friends and loaded coolers at Sunset Beach.
