Yeah, it's not fun, though the one advantage is doing multiple loads of laundry simultaneously.  This particular one is clean, and close, if slightly more expensive.  We chose dishwasher over in suite laundry.  In-suite laundry around here increases the rent more than the cost of a laundry service, for a regular person.  So, when we can afford that extra monthly expense, we will just pay someone else to wash our clothes, rather than pay for the privilege of washing them ourselves.

The bartender was weird about it. He gave me the impression that he didn't want to open it because he said it spoils fast and nobody really orders it so it would kind of go to waste. He said they only open it when they use it in certain seasonal cocktails. frown.gif

disc golf is pretty fun. I promised myself only to play with this cheap kit of three discs (out of principle to not become a disc golf nerd) then tried out my friends nicer discs (which are heavier and harder and better) and got disk envy.

the part that's making me happy: after playing I said goodbye to my disk dude bros and went for a trail run then saw a golden glimmer under some leaves. walking slowly up to it I carefully brushed the leaves aside to see excalibur: a florescent yellow professional Innova Championship Wraith Model Distance Driver 175g Disc! I immediately tossed the superior disc and felt the extra $10 worth of quality compared to my plebeian plastic.

it was like I was charlie from charlie and the chocolate factory. only that this disc didn't belong to me (some guy wrote his name/number on sharpie on the underside of it. so i'm going to text/call him and try to return it.

You should e-stalk him and sign him up for a NAMBLA membership.

As of late, my visage has looked more like a turtle's than a hawk's.

Byyrh is a vermouth, so it will spoil quickly.

I'd use cochi and byyrh over any regular vermouth.

I think it retails for like $25. $17 is really cheap. (Good deal)

Its really big in Boston. In surprised it isn't that common in NYC.

Cynar is a very easy drinking amaro.

Ever try a Trident? One part each Cynar, dry sherry, and aquavit with a couple dashes of peach bitters.

Lot of people don't know this, but byrrh is actually a variety of vermouth, to where it will spoil with some celerity.

EDIT: Looks like Bhowie was one step ahead of me this morning hehehe!

The trident sounds nice. Sherry is popular right now.

Never had sherry.

Sherry is good

You barrel aged a trident? I can see oak going well with aquavit and cynar.
