I've posted here about my awful downstairs neighbors (door slamming, smoking pot every day, screaming, etc.). Today I called my landlord to let him know I'm leaving about a month before my lease ends, and he graciously agreed to let me do half a month's rent. He mentioned receiving complaints from the first floor tenants about the folks below me. Hoo boy did I go to town on those dirtbags. By the end of my tirade, landlord said their lease would not be renewed. I also learned that the guy's mother pays his rent online. He lives with his wife and is probably in his late 20s.

This gives me great joy.

One more homeless person to exploit come election time!

That is a bunch of razzmatazz.

Funny you should bring up such funny articles. Yesterday I declined to be a part of the department softball team (due to not enjoying things many people enjoy) and my boss put me in charge of designing the uniforms, which was welcomed by coworkers hooting and hollering in laughter.

Sure it is more heartwarming...

but it inexplicably makes Ted a shitty storyteller, and robs the writers of their almost decade long red herring trolling of the american public. I mean how f'ed up is that? Everybody wants Ted and Robin, but you think you know they can't be together since she is definitely not the mother (even though the entire story is about them)...turns out it was a misdirection all along and while she is not the mother, she is gonna be the woman he grows old with.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
TBH, I suppose I "like" the alternative ending better too. It is more palatable, and it is still a little bit edgy to truly end on them meeting (without anything further, despite 8 seasons that focused on ted getting to know new girls).

But, I think the real ending is far more interesting and I am glad they did it. Its not some happy TV ending where *bam* ted meets the mother, yippee, the end. They did something subversive. They planned it out, stuck to their guns, and told their entire story. It didn't go off the rails due to lack of planning like Lost.
Everything held together until the end (although it did go downhill in terms of humor/quality) which is incredibly rare for something that lasted that long. The showrunners stayed involved the whole time, frequently acting as writers until the end and with the exception of ~10 episodes, the show was entirely directed by the same person through its entire run.
This consistency of creative talent led to a network show with a story line that was actually generally planned out, and a timeline that was amazingly consistent with no major continuity errors despite 9 seasons with major flashback/flashforward usage.

I used to have an insanely large collection of Blink 182 t shirts. Some that are probably worth money now.

Once, I got angry at my wife, right before having sex, when I noticed she used one of my old radiohead concert-tshirts as a sleep shirt.

My girlfriend got mad at me once (well multiple times) during sex (coitus). I saw on my chair when my suit jacket was hanging there was lint on it and during the act I reach over to pick it off. She got real made, but I was lolling in my mind.

i have some old concert T's. I'd like to think that they're valuable, but in reality they were probably $50 new to begin with, so i can't possibly see much upside.

on my wall is an old concert poster for the Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam for NYE 1991. worth a couple hundred.

Talk to me when you own Steely Dan and Crosby, Stills & Nash tour t-shirts. Philistines.

Agreed. They just announced a summer 2014 tour--the Jamalot Ever After Tour. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
