things that are making you happy - Page 2724

So I mentioned that my car was totaled a while back. I took it to the shop anyway just in case it could be repaired, it can not (well for more than what I bought my new car for). Anyway, I go to clean it out before I sell it for parts.

I get in and see that someone has stolen the radio. Its weird how you still feel violated by that even when you no longer want the thing. Anyway, I saw that one of the silver coins I had had in my center console was on the floor (they were from an event, really ugly and I was meaning to sell them). I thought that was weird then remembered to grab them. 6/10 that I had were stolen as well (why not bring all of them?).

However, what made me really laugh was that I had lost a C-Note. Said C-Note was on the floor of the passenger side of the car. I mean, if you're a criminal why not just grab the cash and go? Everything else can be traced or you have to do something with it.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was someone from the shop who did it because the door was locked, there's no cameras in the back where they kept the car and a big metal fence "protected" the cars. I'm going to call APD and speak with the Pawn Shop Unit so I can get my coins back and then sell them. Hopefully I get some long-time PSU veteran named Lester to help me out.

My work colleague is on the phone and when the other party picked up, he said "Hello, Hey Man, how are you doing?"

I have my keys right, phone left, and am a Righty. Always has keys and change in my right, for easy access before I had a phone, or one that fit in a pocket, so it was a matter of the phone going in the previously unused space.

Front left phone, front right wallet, keys in rear right, or right front jacket pocket.  the problem is that heavy keys can distort the drape on my jackets in fit pics. :violin:

Isn't it annoying to sit on your keys all day?

My otolaryngologist is so fucking attractive. She's got the looks, but more importantly, her personality is perfect. I have a huge crush on her inlove.gif.

Too bad she has a fiance..

The nurse receptionist was blatantly hitting on me while I signed-in, saying I reminded her of her favorite actor crush, who happens to be Azn.

The other receptionist gently chided her for being inappropriate, lol.

Too bad she's old(er) and not attractive.

ENT doctor
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I hated my ENT rotation during clerkship. After checking a kid's throat during clinics, I took off my mask and started talking to his mother and the kid coughed right into my mouth. I later got mumps and had to miss two weeks to forced sick leave. Even half the residents got mumps later that month.

Bough two book matched slabs of 10/4 white ash, really superb stuff for my sisters wedding gift dining table. 8' tall, 17" wide and really awesome grain, milled by one of the best sawyers that has worked at the place I'm sourcing it from.

Ear, nose, and throat.

In my case, throat, for voice therapy.
