GF is the kind of douche that will drive around for four hours looking for a place to park his M5. Oh wait, so are you, Larry!

Clearly, you haven't been to Union Square in quite some time. Even the pleb side of the 1%r's need to stretch to be able to afford this area.

GF picked a good day to visit New York. Super nice out.

Thanks for the T-Mobile update, @GreenFrog. Just ordered my phone this weekend; should be all setup this week.

The USQ to Wall street walk is super interesting though.. its like less than an hour of pure NYC-ness.

I love the buses/subway, walking and riding a bike in NYC, but when you start knowing where to park (most of the time for free) its like you solved on of the last "living in NYC" pieces of the puzzle (living in NYC with a car!).

For instance... i know where there's free parking in that area (its near battery park).... I'd park the car there than just walk around like a normal NYC'er would (which still involves miles of walking)... only this way you can fill the trunk with stuff from Century 21.

It really is a beautiful day out and I'm so thankful for that because I was worried about wearing a coat over my suit. I still don't have an overcoat so the fact that I can walk around without any outerwear is fantastic.

Spoken like a true Style-Forumer. Filling your trunk with Century 21 bags.

I tentatively have lunch plans with a friend but if those plans fall through... Three martini lunch? On me, of course!

Nexus 5. My first non-iPhone smart phone since my Blackberry like 7 years ago.

So excited to not have to use iTunes anymore.

I could never not use Apple products. I am just so used to them.

I was waiting for a friend yesterday and there was an apple store nearby and I went in. It really made me want to buy products that I already own. I'm such an asshole. Also, still not sold on the iPad thing. So the Macbook air and the maxed out iPad are roughly the same price, yet the macbook air does a lot of stuff the iPad can't because it is a full computer, has a keyboard, and more storage space. What am I missing here?

I've become very annoyed with a lot of Apple stuff. Their hardware is great, but God, their software is awful. I also really don't like how much they lock the iPhone down.

It is unquestionably a very polished product though. We will see how things go. I still have an iPhone 5 for work, so I'm not quitting totally cold turkey.

I'd never buy the super high end iPad for exactly that reason.

The base one is great for sitting on the couch and browsing the web (read: StyleForum) and such. Also great for traveling. Absolutely not a replacement for a proper computer, but it's great for "in between" use like light web surfing and email.

I never even know what people mean when they say such things? I mean, I do notice they release OS's that slow down whatever generation phone you currently have in efforts for you to get the faster one, but with short plans of only 2 years I don't have a problem with getting a new phone every two years. As far as locking down the phone, I am clueless to what they even means. I mean I am a simple user in terms of technology really. I see people on their computers doing all of these fancy shortcuts on the macs and such. It boggles my mind.

Even then, plopping on my couch I have a macbook air. I see no reason for an iPad until they merge the two together which is bound to happen.
