I think sf consensus is tuxes at night

WTF? Are we all farmers now?

Tuxes at night. Black is for funerals. Groomsmen shouldn't completely match like toy soldiers.

Am I doing it right?

What do you have against toy soldiers?

I had this boring assed dinner with normally fun people tonight. When I saw the parking lot was covered in black ice, I carefully walked out to the middle and yelled:

"be careful everyone! the whole parking lot is covered in black ice!"

I then proceeded to moonwalk (I'm an average moonwalker, but with a slippery floor/footwear I'm an excellent moonwalker). I even yelled out some "shamones" while moonwalking towards my car.

My wife was super duper embarrassed (the kind where she was shaking her head and looking away), but our dinner companions, and small crowd of people outside the restaurant let out belly laughs.

sometimes moonwalking on black ice can be a public service.

made me guffaw: its already monday here. early in the day a 70ish year old guy (a client who runs a small machine shop) walks in wearing a "muscle shirt". the shirt has a big message on it: "Hung Like A Horse"

I had a solid weekend. We (finally) got our Christmas tree on Friday, then we did our Christmas decorating and went to a party on Saturday. This is the first year my son has really understood it all (well, except the part about not opening the gifts under the tree until Christmas morning), and it's so much fun. Yesterday, I pretty much finished my Christmas shopping after having a lot of trouble finding something for MrsG, and the whole family spent most of the day under blankets on the couch being bums and dodging the cold dreariness outside.

Oh, and checking my bank account recently has been like I hit a jackpot - my insurance dividend for the year came in last week, and MrsG's bonus came in today (at 50% higher than last year).
