Yeah, i mean it's pretty common in Academia. Unfortunately with the popularity of a certain marvel series in film right now a lot more people have been "discovering" my field, and take advantage of it trying to ask me more questions. Doesn't help that there's a hokey ass religion set up around it.

They seem not to like when I pull out my notepaper and ask how I should cite them in any publications or papers moving forward and whether they will be available on short notice in the future if needed to validate such citation.

I'm going to start doing that.

All right, cowboy, back the fuck off. I plan to go to Valhalla when I die.

God, how are you guys up at 10 AM on a Saturday talking about academia and transmission fluid? You guys need to be more like Bhowie. Hungover because he was piss drunk the night before playing board games with a middle-aged Japanese man.

Posted this bugger a couple weeks back, but have to again. The way he brings in his legs when he sits is freaking adorable. It's like a cat blob:

This morning at breakfast I listened to some old fuck sitting next to me go on a glorious five minute rant about "fucking goddamn slobs from Long Island." Momentarally, it solved all my problems.

It can be done...although not always. The reason I have this cat is that one of our old neighbors decided that they wanted to have a cat again (may have been an impromptu decision at a shelter...who knows). Unfortunately, they had gotten a new dog since their last cat died and the new dog was just not willing to accept living with a cat. The other dog was like "Ah, one of your kind again. So be it.", but the new dog was not happy.

It definitely would be something I'd be nervous about. Too bad you can't really 'test pilot' a dog / cat relationship. Guess you just gotta hope for the best that the two will like each other.

I've been browsing reddit's aww section pretty heavily as of late and... dammit I want some pets!!!

That's a handsome cat, i like the attitude of cats but I do not like living with them. I'm pet free, as much as I like dogs, I dont want to live with one of them either.

Was this at a diner? Diners are the great equalizer.

When I took a shower today, the water that came out of the shower head smelled like Rochas Femme edp (vintage formulation). I wonder what's up with that?

Could this have been caused by the internal application of port (that is, drinking potable beverages)?
