Plus, he's swamped this morning, which didn't leave any time for immediate follow-up. That being the case, I've had sort of an "I guess it went well...I think" feeling all morning.

Well, a few minutes ago, my assistant director (one of the people to whom I was presenting) walked by my office while I was on a call and gave me a quiet thumbs up/"good job." This guy is the second-in-command where I work, and he's very, very well connected.

Feeling pretty bigstar[1].gif right now.

Awesome, G! I know what those presentations are like. It's incredible the amount of shit you have to retain simply for a just-in-case scenario. ffffuuuu.gif

IRL people have asked me on more than one occasion if I am "of tribe" (Jewish) no I am not. (Put in the happy thread because what the hell, at least people was talking to me (acknowledge my existence)).

Yeah I get asked that on occasion. My profession probably contributes to that misconception, coupled with the fact that a lot of German and Dutch jews do have my last name.

You have a good last name for a website such as this one.

I was going to say your name is tailor-made for a site such as this, but I thought better of it (in the last analysis).

I was asked if I was a "long a man" and the person told me it meant Jewish.
