things that are making you happy - Page 2337

Bought a new Stihl string trimmer today. Fired right up on the second pull. The guys offered to look at and fix my Husky chainsaw. (The tensioner is not keeping the chain tight.) If they can't fix it, good discount on a new one.

The time for the unruliness in this yard must end. I need to clear my property to the line for spring planting, pull some of the boxwoods on the property and tame the pachysandra.

Debating on trees to plant on the property line. Part of me wants Magnolias (there are a few cultivars that tolerate the cold and are not as tall), but I think that Columnar Tulip trees or hornbeams may work better. Leaning on lilacs to line the road and provide privacy from the trees that were pulled out there. Most of the boxwoods will be replaced with either azaleas or Sky Pencil Holly, depending on the locations....

Do you have a pasture in which to graze this animal? Or is there some alternative urban shepherding method?

I live pretty close to Forest Park, which is the big city park in St. Louis (and site of the World's Fair in 1904).

Wait, are you serious about this? I thought that these were joaks (delusional musings)?

If you are serious (not joaking) please name her Kebab

I don't think L'inc intends to eat his adopted lamb, I'm fairly sure he wants to teach him to speak English and then become the patriarch of a super sentient race of lambs that will eventually take over the world from humans. Humans will be subjugated to the superiourity of the lamb and moved into pens where we will be raised for our delicious pancreases.

I suggest the lamb be named Ceaser.

I think the lamb should be named Lion.

Aww heck, I don't want a lamb so's to rule the world or convert into food hehehe. I just want an adorable pet.

Looks like I'm running into two obstacles in adopting Grace Lamb: first, it looks like the adoption fee will be $350. Second, I've been told that it's "against reggylation" to have a lamb in the city. I don't want to move out of the city because I am St. Louis to the core. (Yes, the person really said "against reggylation.")

I still have all of my lambs. My grandfather lost one of his lambs in Vietnam.
