Not trying to brag or anything, but I cut my hair today and now I look better than I did previously.

Arguably the perfect driving weather in Dallas today. Amazing.

Also, the only productive thing I've done all day (got out of bed at 5 PM shog[1].gif) was wait in line for some of..... DIS!:

my iron skillet:

I have a larger 13.5" one, but my 10.5" one is my favorite. Years of seasoning. I keep it oiled in my oven and leave it in there even when baking other things.

i used my skillets to cook every gluttonous meal today.

Breakfast - bacon fried eggs and pancakes
lunch - medium rare sliders
dinner - fried chicken

Felt like I was witnessing real life Office Space just now.

I don't like eavesdropping on people's calls, but this man walks right into the "quiet zone" in the airport lounge and starts talking loudly on his cell phone.

Apparently he's in sales and is telling his mates that he believes the engineers are trying to take over and put them out of a job. But no, that will never happen because they need salesmen! Engineers can't relate to clients and understand their needs like the salespeople do!

This goes on for 20 minutes and as they are about to ring off he is asked a question about a client. After he answers, he's informed that the client is Danish, not from the Netherlands and he responds "hehehe, Denmark, Netherlands - it's all the same anyway. Who knows what the difference between the two is anyway!"

But I'm a people person, dammit!!

Not to mention the dickery of going into a quite area and loudly talking on the phone. What an asshole.

He was sitting right underneath the sign. But the conversation was so funny I forgot to be annoyed

I found this picture of Vox to be amusing. It looks like he is photoshopped in.

GF, where's the BBQ from? I go through Dallas once in a while, but despite being in Texas, it's slim pickings for good BBQ.
