Just so's to be clear (in case my typing is being observed/surveilled), it is the dentist what administers the nitrous oxide in accordance with all the relevant legal principles and precedents.

(Sometimes, like today for example, I panic when I'm given nitrous because I think I am going to die, but that I won't be able to take preventative action. My panic does not show on the outside, though, which is good because then they'd probably stop giving me nitrous.)

Speaking of Lee. I visited Bruce Lee's grave (and his son's) when I was in Seattle. Incredible man.

skip to 2:48 to where he actually does martial arts stuff in his suit. i always wondered what Lee would look like with a normal non-70's hair/attire. looks like he could be a huge hollywood matinee idol today.

That video was quite incredible. Everything from his raw speed and talent to the way his suit had more than enough range of motion to cope with those movements.

I can't find a single thing in this post that should make you happy.

edit: or do you mean you are happy that the oil spot is not from your car? I suppose that makes sense, but I'd be more annoyed at having oil all over my driveway and my daughter travelling around in a POS car that's spurting oil.

I'm assuming he's happy that its not his own car that needs repair work, but someone else's?

Dealership called. My car needs special parts and won't be fixed until Tuesday. They will pick up the cost of the rental.

I hesitate to ask, but what special parts?

Happy hour in 20 minutes!

I had an intern who was a part of my department before her graduation. She's been looking for a new job for the two months after graduation and recently landed her first interview. I wrote her a letter of recommendation. I never got a call from the company she interviewed for, but when I was walking in the office this morning she was outside on her cell just finishing up the acceptance call. I'm very happy and proud of her. It takes an average of 8 months for students of her major to land a job. She's done a lot of "next level" work that's beyond what most interns do, so I knew she would find something quickly.

Now I have to find someone to fill her spot who's an intern. It's not going to be easy. I'm happy for her, but her leaving my department is going to cause me stress.
