Finalized order for an engagement ring.

Stitch may be disappointed. I even went online for this purchase. Maybe people will start believing me when I say I don't store shop.

Broad reached out to Coney Island and the wind shifted enough for a close haul back. It was lovely.

Gorgeous here too. Made a belated bday party for my son at a nearby park. Would have been impossible to do that a week or so ago.

Looks like Raven Symone has come out of the closet (admitted to lesbian ways). This is a game changer!

For all the people of the terraqueous globe. Raven Symone has ushered in a new era.

thanks everybody. Started prep for the last one this morning, and I'm almost tempted to sit a practice exam cold, just to get a baseline.

CPA exam. I've been around it for a long time now, figured I'd get certified.

Went to lollapalooza this weekend and had some good fun.

At some point, we decided to bring along our friend's boyfriend on a stick (we saw grumpy-cat on a stick on the first day...and he has been noted for his likeness).
Got to make many photos and videos like this:and I doubt he has ever been kissed/fondled/flashed by as many strangers.

Am disappoint. Not one of those flashes you mentioned.

Who headlined this year? I went to one in Pine Knob back around 92 or 93 and it was pretty cool.

Sorry, was not captured on my camera. If facebook ever adds global facial recognition, there are going to be a bunch of random people's photos showing up with an azn-on-a-stick though...

I saw a few minutes of nine inch nails, the killers, the postal service, and the cure. Would have been nice to see more NIN...I was never really a fan, but Trent Reznor is so very talented and the few minutes I saw before meeting my friends at the killers were pretty great. Didn't see phoenix or mumford & sons.

I would have liked to, but I went to vampire weekend which mostly overlapped with beach house. I caught maybe half of their final song, and it sounded pretty good.

Trent and NIN played at the one I saw about 20 years ago. RATM, AIC, Fishbone, Tool, Primus...ah, good times.

You must have gone in '91 then--the first year ever.

Its not a travelling show anymore...but is now a 3-day festival.

Hosting it in grant park is pretty cool--where else can you go to a festival like that with the city skyline behind the stages--but honestly, if I didn't live here and work across the street (the year I didn't go, I spent the day looking out the window and wishing I was there), I doubt I would go.
