A new construction project and a renovation project, both the largest in scope and design freedom that I've had to date, are both reaching completion next month. Really happy with how they've turned out so far, and can't wait to walk through the finished products.

My mom is getting my daughter from school today and taking her back to my folks' place for a swim. And after work I am going to join them.

I never had a crush on PJ Harvey, but I know others who did.

For me, it was Bjork and Tori Amos.

Yeah I had a huge crush on her. She's a great singer, too.

So sad. Crushed hard on her too.

FUCK. I didn't know it was that bad.

I had a huge crush on Christina Scabbia. Nobody knows who she is probably. So, here.

I was at a concert (OzzFest maybe?) when I was 19 and she was there. She was signing posters and I figured why not, she's hot, I'll get one. She went to sign mine and I scooted it further from her and closer to me. She leaned to sign it and I Saw her boobies. crackup[1].gifinlove.gif

She's definitely gorgeous. I like her band alright but I'm sure nobody else will.

I think her and her husband have made some sort of Dorian Grey type deal.

these comments always get kind of misinterpreted, but...

gwen stefani is so-so.

IRL obvi I'd nail her but as celebs go she is not all that.

Be mine, Victoria Legrand

Only a few dozen.

Only a few are musicians, though. Esperanza Spalding is one

I'm glad the weekend is finally here. The first week back after vacation is always rough, and this was no exception. This should be a good weekend, though. MrsG has a lunch date with some friends tomorrow, and then she's (finally) using a spa gift certificate we got her for Mother's Day. I'm going to have a "boys day" with my son, and I'm thinking we'll go for a little hike in a park I want to check out (as long as the weather holds).

Speaking of outdoorsy stuff, I ordered a couple of things for my kayak last weekend. One item came in yesterday and another tomorrow. I've never actually used this boat - it was given to me by a friend last summer - so I'm looking forward to the chance to get it in the water ASAP.

Oh, and I'm finally solidifying plans for my trip for my brother's wedding in D.C. later in the year.
