I'm really happy the summer solstice is passed and the day will start getting shorter. For some reason I really like driving to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. It sucks when the sun is already up and shining at 5:30 am.

im the total opposite. I absolutely hate driving to work when its dark. I hate how hot its getting, but damn it sure makes it easier to wake up.

While I get to the office pretty early I am by nature a night person. When I drive to work in the dark and drive home in the dark I feel better.

after a few years working for the man my "night person" nature has slowly been beaten out of me. Whipped into submission to become an early to bed early riser. it fucking sucks.

Agreed. And what makes it even worse for me is that I'm The Man.

Years? After 4 months of getting up at 4 AM I'm asleep by 9, whether I'm home or not.

At least I have my advanced age as an excuse. You though? laugh.gif

My excuse is that I enjoy sleep.

And also, waking up so early probably wouldn't make me so tired if all I did was sit at a desk and sign pink slips all day!!!

Hey, I use a heavy pen!

Huh. I didn't realize being a night owl was so common. I hate mornings. If I had my way, I'd shift my entire schedule back about three hours. That would much more closely resemble the pattern I fall into when I don't have a set schedule to follow.
