Also, I recently discovered that the hot blonde on Hey Dude was Christine Taylor. I've wanted to bone her since I was a mere child. Ben Stiller is a lucky dude.

Yeah, no idea what they sounded like, but I've never been inclined to find out.

Indeed it was. I recall seeing her in something later on and going, "hey! That's the chick from Hey Dude!"

I wasn't aware that Challengers and Mercedes SUVs were available in a dually configuration.

Just got word that it was indeed, Piobaire the speedster, that succumbed to the aforementioned speed trap.

^we covered that in the 90's thread.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I watched that show religiously in my pre-teens on Nickelodeon. I also watched this weird show on the Discovery Channel called The Travellers.

the weird part is how one of the people on the travelers (the asian girl Michelle) eventually did nude lesbian roles in 90's B movies and had a role on Community as Pierce's girlfriend/fiancee.

I just picked up my Brooklyn Half Marathon Shirt/Bib/Packet. I'm not going to lie... I'm a little nervous about being in a huge crowd before, during, and after the race.

Im happy that the brooklyn half shirt is nice and simple this year... I've ran it for the last 3 years and the shirt has suuucked for the past years.

I just passed an establishment called Wang Spa. That brought a smile to my face.

Google announced a spotify style service.

This is interesting because it works in a browser (as well as on any mobile device) so you can really use it anywhere. Also, it works with linux which is one of the two things that was keeping me from switching my HTPC back to xbmc on stripped down linux (the other being netflix streaming).

There will be much groaning. laugh.gif

It's flex, which will require me to come in at 8:30 instead of 9:00 for four days out of a ten day pay period. On two of those 8:30 days I'll have to stay 'til 6:00. It sucks, but having all of these 3 day weekends is going to be worth it in my opinion.

The first Friday off is this week!

9 1/2 hours? In ONE day? That's just cruel and unusual

Just finished law school. For me, that's meant:

  • 4 years
  • 34 classes
  • 88 credits
  • 160 hours of exams
  • 1250 hours commuting
  • 1600 hours of class
  • 3300 hours studying
  • 18,000 pages of reading
  • 104,000 miles

Done. Finis. (unless I flunk something).

Now all I need to do is pass the bar.

Congratulations, Huntsman. I can remember when you started. (Well, OK - I can almost remember when Learned Hand started law school. But that's beside the point.) I'm happy for you. Where will you be taking the bar? And more importantly, what did you decide on for your celebratory cocktail? You obviously should allow yourself to celebrate and relax before you start thinking about the bar - which is not nearly as difficult as we law-talkers sometimes like to pretend.
Get yourself out to LA and I'll buy you a drink. Otherwise, unfortunately, I'll have to send you a virtual one:

But seriously, well done.

Congrats, Hunts. Now go get yourself that well-deserved d'Yquem. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
