its a pretty huge transition. i mean, you go from spending your whole life in school, and then poof, its over. totally new way of living. different hours, different responsibilities....

good luck, man.

I hate that idea that they best days of your life are in college. I have been out of college for 5 years and I can say each year has gotten better. I think it is because each year I make more and more money.

College can be pretty lame if you don't like getting hammered or high.

Agree. I had a great time in college and have very fond memories of it; but I don't want to go back.

first few years or work outside of school can be daunting, but after that I think it can get better pretty quickly. Also, people begin to view you as someone of substance.

My life has been better after college than during. By quite a lot, actually.

Macarons make me happy. I could eat them all day.

College was a great time for me even though undergrad was quite a struggle between work and school. They are a great time though because never again in life are most people expected or allowed to follow intellectual pursuits on a full time basis (unless you go into academia) of such a wide range. You are also expected to party your guts out, take long holidays (like Xmas break), and experience new things.

While my current life is quite fulfilling being younger and without real responsibility is pretty nice and broadening one's intellectual horizons in such a concentrated way is not likely to happen in a busy working person's world.

Grad school was one of the best periods of my life. I was dirt poor financially, but rich in so many other ways. Life is great now, but I reflect on my grad school years with much fondness.

College would be much more enjoyable if you had to work first, then you could quit to go to school for 4 years.

This.

The thing I miss about school is having no responsibilities. It didn't feel that way then, but looking back... It was a four year vacation.

Depends on what you study and if mommy and daddy are supporting you or not.
