Awesome. See if you can find someone to take you to a skeet or trap range. Always a lot of fun.

The block member function makes me happy. It's been getting a lot of use lately.

yeah I'm going to see if I can do that. Unfortunately, just about every range in NYS has a long line of people waiting to register as members. I'm going to see if I can find some good spots on state land.

Just watched the new Louis CK special on HBO. His long streak of absolutely killing it remains unbroken.

I'm almost finished tilling and planting a new garden. I spent about 12 hours on it from Monday to Friday, and about 10 yesterday. I could barely climb out of bed this morning, but I'm determined to get it finished today. Looks nice out there, all flat and raked and fertilized. Should have a nice crop of lettuce and herbs in a few weeks.

I broke down and bought one of those Chuck-it throwing things for the dog. I previously used a practice baseball (those yellow dimpled heavy rubber balls to practice pitching curveballs) but it was getting gross playing fetch (the ball would be caked in mud/crud). I used to play baseball through HS/College - the thought of using a throwing aid made me feel like a pussy - until I was being consistently beat by an elderly lady using one of those damn chuck its.

Hot damn the first throw with the chuck it was 100+ feet with no effort and a tennis ball. It was kind of fun putting some arm and arc into it - where it was going scary far (because we were playing fetch on a big open field at a park in Queens with moving traffic/other dogs/people around).

beautiful weather today and the wife and i took the family to really nice park today. my son is now old enough that playing ball will him is starting to get legit fun for me as well. played some baseball catch and then was hitting and pitching baseballs to him. then we played some football catch, and i was having him run some simple plays and then chasing him down. was really really great.

One thing I have learned is that many fans on KISS websites don't know how to take language at anything but face value. (Yes, I am aware that that says something about KISS fans.) I write a lot of sentences that are meant as sly jokes, but many people take me seriously. This, of course, gives me an opportunity to troll them, which makes me happy.

Glad you enjoyed the beautiful day with your family.

It was warm and sunny in these parts so I spent most of the day outside. I went for a morning run, dug up fence posts, worked on the yard, and went to my yoga practice. Terrific day that I appreciated greatly, especially after being in the Minneapolis snowstorm a couple of days ago.

Indianapolis can be truly beautiful on early spring and late fall days.
