there's always that panic that sets in when I'm in a cash only place and I forgot. an old college professor once visited and we met up at Peter Lugers with his wife and I was sweating bullets because I only had $20 cash in my wallet (and I was planning to pay for the whole meal). I had to frantically text my wife to scrounge up a large amount of cash (emergency cash we hold in a small safe) before meeting up with us at the restaurant.

Yeah, since they changed things so low value charges are just a swipe with no sig I get my AMEX points on most purchases. HB is right though, a guy needs some cash in hand for tips (and the peelers if he's so inclined to visit). You need some $20s for valets and such.

What could you actually do if I decided I wanted to buy your girlfriend that Celine bag or Louboutins she's been wanting, you can't make enough money to afford it. All you could really do is just submit and accept your place 4 categories below me on the food chain.

Lulz. Cash is a hard asset to track down once you have grown up and come to the conclusion that buying Celine bag's or Louboutins for a blow job is a bad trade off. The real gold in life, IMO, is stopping the rat race at some point and it's going to be hard to do such if you have thrown 5K here and 1K there on items that have a limited shelf life but again that is something that one stumbles upon after some time. I'd rather have that 10K earning a dividend or intrest over hiding in a dust bag. I am sure that there is a fairly large amount of people here on the forums that have blown absurd amounts of cash on girlfriends(man up and wife it) who would be more than willing to tell you the return was far from what they thought the investment should have given.

Clearly NY is a slightly different apple over the rest of the world and I can see that some cash would be handy for that one slice of the planet.

My girlfriend is the most low maintenance woman I have ever met.

I have a friend who used to work at the Bermuda office of a very famous two name-d accountancy firm. He was always making trips to NYC/Mexico City/San Francisco/Toronto. I'd always joke about why his clients didn't use the local famous two name-d branch. Eventually he took a lot less pay to transfer out to a local branch and seemed a lot happier/less stressed.

Looks like he got out right in time with some recent news. I'm really happy for him.

Lolz. If you have to buy your chick a bag to get her to go down on you then you're doing it wrong.

Well said. I'm high maintenance enough for one.

I have to say, the panic at the ol' workplace is kind of endearing. Not only do they have more stress, but they have one less person to yell at. satisfied.gificon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

And I already have meetings scheduled for next week.

People on here try to tell me my mounds of cash ain't beautiful but it just doesnt hit home, you would feel the same if you had year after year of social conditioning, it cannot hurt you after that. Everywhere I go they all flock to me, women, men, pets, even small microorganisms that aren't visible to the naked eye love me. I am style forum's Warren Buffet.

Respect me.
