Or, I guess, just cole slaw dressing.

Sounds decent.

No one in Europe eats anything disgusting. Ever.

Just Googled Alabama white sauce, and I can't begin to fathom the horror.

Glad someone got it. As an occasional foray its pretty good. Were it to be the only or most readily-available style your boy would be unhappy.

Also, for the love of christ stop quoting why. He isn't worth reading and he sure as hell isn't quote worthy.

Well I just started planning a trip to Atlanta for mid April, sounds like a meet-up is in order!

I bet you could find food she'd enjoy. For what it's worth, when I go to Savannah, I can't think of a single trip to Savannah where I've eaten typical Southern fare, mostly because I can get it where I live, and there are other options.

If you'll be in the ATL, I could definitely be convinced that a meet-up should happen. Always nice to meet another SFer.

Well, on the bright side, you're still going to Savannah!

It won't be too bad. May is sort of the beginning edge of oppressive heat season, especially for those who aren't used to it, but you should be alright. I hope you have fun (and stay cool)!

Nice! Congrats!

Good luck with the BBQ. The pork is good, but I can't take all the vinegar in the NC sauce.

I said it sounds decent -- as in, not bad. You seem to be going out of your way to try and insult me and it's pretty juvenile and seems like it'd be tiresome.

Also, I think I've said this before, but given that this is a US-centric forum naturally comments -- especially in reply to others -- about things will pertain to American culture, style, and attitudes.

I think it'd be best to hold off on the knee-jerk reactions and grudges for a bit given the preceding sentence and how nonsensical your reply to me was.

Toodles.

"Alabama White Sauce" sounds like a euphemism to me

re-watching Season 3 of Battlestar Galactica. So good. Before and after it was a pretty good show but season 3 was transcendent.

My girlfriend has been watching it. I haven't watched any of it, but when I hear it while I am doing things the dialogue sounds absolutely awful.

Damn right. BSG is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. And the third season is so epic.

It's like a cross between West Wing, Star Trek, and Terminator.

I will say the series finale left a bit to be desired... But still one of my top three TV shows.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Galactica jumping into the planet's atmosphere? Epic.

And my favorite, the season finale, where Starbuck reappears? I was freaking out when that happened.

I really hated the ending, and most of the build up as well. I thought all the pseudo mystical crap was a betrayal of the tough, gritty show that I had come to love.

Made my single biggest sale yesterday. It was 2x as big as my previous record. Nothing like going out with a bang.
