I had a conference in Boston this weekend, but more importantly I visited a very good friend. And had Glenfiddich 18.

A couple more things:

1. I got a copy of The Great Outdoor Fight, which the author signed for me. He also drew Ray Smuckles.

2. A lady at the conference said the following: "Damn, you are so handsome... ... It is hard to look at you!" For the record, I am not all that handsome, but irregardless. Maybe I just have a higher value in New England, sort of like Dunkin Donuts.

No Tim Horton's in New England?

I'm in Boston too bounce2.gif I just drove in.

I got bummed out because we checked into our hotel after 7pm. The one thing I hate about boston is how it dies on Sunday after 7pm -especially Cambridge. We had a hard time looking for food, until I remembered a pretty good Thai place for take out. The food was actually great. There was some major major traffic driving in.

got back from a trip that was fun, but was also very very successful. this is going to be my hardest year in 6-7 years in terms of making my bonus, and this trip gave me very serious hope that I would hit my target and get my bonus. also, my last "Rebelious" distributor caved and toed the line.

tomorrow is passover - I have 35 people for seder. we use a hadaga (basically a hymn/prayer book) that we put together full of fun stuff, and we have all sorts of fun props like a pinyata. our seder rocks.

Didn't get to meet up with globetrotter on Friday because I had to come to Tokyo suddenly last Wednesday, but got to hang out with gdl203 last night. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

It is beautiful though, and similar to Savannah in many ways.

If you love Savannah, you should definitely check it out. Everyone I know who isn't from there loves visiting, and I admittedly have a somewhat different view of the city than most do smile.gif

I definitely need to plan to go. I've heard Charleston is basically a cleaner Savannah. To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about that. One of the things I love about Savannah is that little bit of grimy swampiness it has. Either way, there's only one way to find out - visit! Maybe we'll make a long weekend of it once we get settled after the move.

I've heard great things about Savannah, I'd like to check it out someday.

Savannah is awesome. Definitely worth doing at least once. Everyone I know who loves Charleston also loves Savannah, even if they prefer one or the other.
